Tom Dixon re-inviosins the Sofa through IKEA

By admin In Design, Furniture Design, Interior Design

Blank Aluminum Canvas

This line is designed to be as versatile as our modern lives. Meaning it could be rearranged to suite almost every situation. Wether its a late night study, or a get together or a party, or even a date!

In his design, Dixon used the aluminum due to being lightweight and sturdy structure. Also because aluminum industry has peaked its efficiency in production. Dixon thinks of the aluminum platform as a white canvas which the other elements define and paint.
